Who We Are

Our Story: From Jamaica to the Heart of the UAE

Ashanti Imports is more than just a food and beverage trading company; we are a bridge between two vibrant cultures. Our journey began with a simple, yet powerful, vision: to share the rich, authentic flavors of Jamaica with the diverse and dynamic market of the United Arab Emirates. Founded by British national Noel Dempster, Ashanti Imports is a Dubai-based company, licensed for the trading of vegetables, fruits, food, and beverages. Our story is rooted in a deep appreciation for the unique quality of Jamaican produce and a commitment to delivering it to a global audience.

We saw a growing demand in the UAE for new, exciting, and high-quality food products that cater to an increasingly health-conscious and adventurous consumer base. With the UAE’s status as a global trade hub and its growing re-export potential, it became the perfect gateway to introduce the unparalleled taste of Jamaican products.
